Leaving the Armed Forces can be a major life transition, particularly for those experiencing PTSD, depression, anxiety, physical injury or other health difficulties. The loss of military identity, structure and camaraderie, combined with challenges around employment, finances and adapting to civilian life, can place additional pressure on veterans and their families.
